Fri, Aug 16: Drove to town of Kenai

Morning overcast, afternoon rain.

Drove toward town of Kenai.  Stopped near Sterling at the Izaak Walton State rec site, and found the interesting looking toadstool and wood carving.

Stopped in Soldatna.

Got cinnamon rolls from the Moose is Loose bakery.

Visited the Homestead museum, which was interesting to find out about the rules and hardships for homesteading in Alaska.

Near Kenai.
