Tue, Aug 20: Homer

Overcast in morning, cleared up a little in afternoon.

This gives me the creeps every time I look at it:

Visited the Islands and Ocean museum in Homer, and walked along a slough.

The weather got clearer (sunny over Homer, but not shining on the mountains across the inlet), so we went up to Skyline drive along the bluff  that overlooks Homer, and then drove along the East End Road to the end of the inlet for scenic views.

We ate diner at the Homestead Restaurant – they had a separate vegetarian menu, limited, but good.
